Anglia English Preliminary Level (Common European Framework A1)
The classes will cover all the language skills; speaking, listening, reading and writing, but the most important of all is enjoying the language and improving communication.
Preliminary is the first of the levels to divide the language into separate skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It is also the first of the steps to reach a Common European Framework of Reference level, which is A1.
- Improve vocabulary
- Understanding and
- Use of the past simple,
- Regular and irregular verbs
- Communicate present and past events, recently completed actions and life experiences
- Communicate where things are and when things happen
- Express opposites, comparisons and ownership
- Instructions and commands
- Adjectives and modifiers, for descriptive and comparative purposes
- Countable and uncountable things, quantifiers both positive and negative
- Ask questions, answer questions, and write full sentences
