Secondary Sports Day

A Brilliant Day of Sport at TLC Secondary

TLC Secondary enjoyed an exciting and competitive day of athletics, with students taking part in a wide range of sporting events and proudly representing their house teams throughout the day.

From sprints and hurdles to javelin, discus, tug of war, and many more events, students demonstrated impressive determination, resilience, and teamwork across every competition. The energy and enthusiasm on display created a fantastic atmosphere, with plenty of house spirit and encouragement from both participants and supporters.

Well done to all of our students who took part and gave their best effort throughout the event. It was wonderful to see such positive sportsmanship, participation, and team pride from everyone involved.

A huge congratulations goes to our winning house, Akamas, for their outstanding performance on the day.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing staff and parents get involved in the teachers’ and parents’ race, which provided a fun and memorable way to round off the event and brought even more laughter and excitement to the day.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to all the staff who supported and helped run the event, as well as to the parents who came along to cheer on the students throughout the day. Your encouragement and support helped make the event even more special for everyone involved.

A special recognition also goes to our Prom Committee, who worked hard throughout the event selling food and drinks to raise funds. Their effort, organisation, and teamwork were fantastic to see and demonstrated great initiative and responsibility.

Events like these are a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge themselves, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the spirit of healthy competition and teamwork within our school community.
