Adventure Park Trip

An Unforgettable Camping Trip for Year 6

Our Year 6 students enjoyed an unforgettable camping trip to Adventure Mountain Park as they began their final term of Primary school with adventure, teamwork, and memorable experiences.

Over two exciting nights, students took part in a wide range of outdoor activities including orienteering, laser tag, archery, rock climbing, and the Tyrolean traverse. Each activity encouraged students to challenge themselves, build confidence, and develop resilience while working together and supporting one another throughout the trip.

The experience offered far more than just outdoor adventure. From setting up camp and preparing the BBQ to collecting logs for the campfire, students demonstrated excellent teamwork, responsibility, and cooperation every step of the way.

It was wonderful to see students stepping outside their comfort zones, strengthening friendships, and creating lasting memories together as they shared this special experience at the beginning of their final term in Primary school.

Trips like these provide valuable opportunities for personal growth and independence while helping students develop confidence and important life skills beyond the classroom.

A special thank you goes to the Friends of TLC for kindly purchasing and providing the tents used during the trip. Their generosity and support helped make this wonderful experience possible for our students.

We would also like to thank Adventure Mountain Park for hosting our students and providing such a fantastic outdoor experience in a safe and enjoyable environment.

A truly fantastic way for our Year 6 students to begin their final term of Primary school.
