Summer Fun at TLC Summer Camp

TLC Summer Camp was filled with fun, activities and plenty of opportunities for children to spend time together, try something new and make the most of their summer holidays.

Throughout the camp, there was no shortage of ways to stay active. Children took part in basketball, volleyball, tug of war and flip-flop races, while water fights and the slip-and-slide were perfect for keeping cool during the Cyprus summer. A trip to the waterpark added even more excitement and gave everyone another opportunity to enjoy a day out together.

There was plenty happening away from the sports and games too. Campers got creative making their own fruit kebabs and refreshing lemonade, took part in quizzes and dancing, and put their creativity to the test with a tie-dye T-shirt competition and making fly catchers. Movie time provided a chance to relax after busy days of activities.

The programme also included some different experiences for the children to enjoy. Campers learned how to pitch and take down tents, developing teamwork and practical skills along the way, while a special IJS Jujitsu session introduced them to something new. Our talent show was another highlight, with children confidently taking to the stage to share their talents, from singing and speed puzzles to a variety of other performances.

The fun also extended beyond the school grounds with a visit to Pikni Forest, giving everyone a change of scenery and another opportunity to enjoy time outdoors with their friends.

Of course, Summer Camp would not have been complete without our Friday BBQs. They were the perfect way to round off busy weeks of activities, bringing everyone together to enjoy some food and time with friends before another week of summer fun began.

From sports and creative activities to trips, challenges and plenty of laughter, TLC Summer Camp gave children the chance to make new friends, build confidence and create some fantastic summer memories. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm throughout the camp, and we hope everyone who joined us enjoyed their summer at TLC as much as we did.
