Moving Up Day: A Sneak Peek into Secondary School

Our Year 6 students enjoyed a visit to TLC Secondary as they took an exciting step towards the next chapter of their school journey.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to explore the Secondary campus, visit the classrooms where they will be learning next year and meet some of their future teachers. The visit gave them a chance to experience what life in Secondary is like, ask questions and become more familiar with what awaits them when they make the move.

Our Year 12 students also played an important part in the day, acting as guides and sharing their own experiences of Secondary School. Their advice and encouragement helped our Year 6 students feel welcomed and more confident about the transition ahead.

Moving Up Day is a valuable opportunity to make the step from Primary to Secondary feel familiar and exciting, and it was wonderful to see our Year 6 students embracing the experience with such enthusiasm. We look forward to welcoming them to TLC Secondary as they begin this next stage of their journey.
