Tsiknopempti Celebrations

Published by Office on

Yesterday, our students across the Primary and Secondary Schools celebrated Tsiknopempti, part of the celebrations that lead up to Lent in the Orthodox Church. It’s traditional on the day to enjoy souvlakia and play fun games. Not to miss out, our students were treated to chicken or halloumi souvlakia after participating in a roundabout of games where they mixed with students from other year groups. Many thanks goes to our PE teachers Ms Maria and Mr Tasos for the organisation of this wonderful day and to all our staff who assisted. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our PTFA who sponsored the children’s souvlakia and for their continued support.
