Remembrance Day
Honouring Remembrance Day Together
Today, our Primary and Secondary schools came together to mark Remembrance Day with reflection, respect, and gratitude.
The day provided an important opportunity for students across our school community to pause and remember the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who gave so much during times of conflict.
In Primary, students were honoured to welcome veterans from the Royal British Legion, who shared their presence and helped make the occasion especially meaningful. The visit gave our younger students the chance to learn more about the importance of remembrance and to show their appreciation and respect to those who have served.
Meanwhile, our Secondary students took part in a reflective remembrance service, where moments of silence, thoughtful readings, and quiet reflection encouraged everyone to remember the sacrifices made by past and present servicemen and women.
Throughout the day, students demonstrated maturity, compassion, and respect as they reflected on the importance of peace, unity, and remembrance.
We are proud to see our school community come together in such a meaningful way to honour this important occasion and to ensure that the values of remembrance and gratitude continue to be passed on to future generations.
