Party in the Park at TLC Private School

Our final musical event of the year took place on 28th May with the much-anticipated Party in the Park concert, held on the sprawling grounds of the Secondary school. Blessed with perfect weather and a buzzing atmosphere, this year’s event was an overwhelming success, drawing a huge crowd of enthusiastic parents, students, staff and friends of the school community.
The evening was a true celebration of talent, creativity and school spirit, with an incredible 37 acts taking to the stage and dazzling the audience. The crowd was electric—clapping, cheering, and dancing along—creating an uplifting and supportive vibe from start to finish.
The diversity of talent on display was nothing short of amazing. Performers included singers with powerful vocals, graceful dancers, and energetic gymnasts, alongside pianists, a violinist, a clarinet player, drummers, guitarists, and full bands showcasing their skills and passion for music. Each act brought something unique, captivating the crowd and highlighting the depth of talent within the school.
Adding a theatrical twist to the evening were two brilliantly acted-out sketches based on famous fables and fairytales. These mini-performances showcased the students’ impressive drama skills and added an element of storytelling magic to the night. The audience was thoroughly entertained by the expressive performances, imaginative costumes and clever interpretations.
One of the most heartwarming aspects of the evening was the wide age range of participants, spanning from Reception children in primary all the way up to our Year 13 students. This rich mix of ages not only demonstrated the inclusive spirit of the school, but also offered younger pupils a chance to be inspired by the older students and for the older ones to reflect on how far they’ve come.
The event was a true testament to the vibrant, creative and supportive environment the school fosters. Party in the Park was not just a concert—it was a celebration of community, talent and the joy of coming together. A huge congratulations to all the performers, and special thanks to Miss Clare and Mrs Outram for organising the event and to the supportive team of staff who helped to ensure the smooth running of the show on the night.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to make it such a memorable evening.
